In Loving Memory of WWII Veteran Bob Gibson (1923–2026) The Best Defense Foundation mourns the passing of Bob Gibson of Hampton, New Jersey, who passed away on Monday at the age of 102. Born and raised in Hampton, Bob served our nation during World War II as an M4 High Speed Tractor driver with the 116th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. On June 6, 1944, Bob landed on Utah Beach in the early afternoon as part of the Allied invasion of Normandy. His service carried him through to the end of the
